So, when and where will Honor officially launch its new smartphones? Well, MWC Barcelona, as we mentioned, is the destination for the official launches. This takes place between February 26th and March 2nd.

Honor plans to hold its in-person keynote at 1:30 pm (CET) on 27 February 2023 (this is 07:30 EST, and 12:30 GMT). But, you don’t actually need to be there to get the gossip. Obviously Honor is looking to deliver the news to attendees in-person, but if you’re not heading to MWC 23, you can still see the Honor keynote via its online live stream.

What Will Honor Reveal at MWC?

Honor generally has multiple releases at MWC. Last year saw the brand releasing a new line of smartwatches AND earbuds alongside the Honor Magic4 Series (we gave the Magic4 Pro our Best Smartphone of 2022 award).

Honor has multiple smartphones planned for an official launch at the 2023 iteration of Mobile World Congress, and we’re pretty excited to see them hitting stores and getting into the hands of Joe Public, because Honor has some real treats in store.

Honor Magic Vs front screen

First up is the Honor Vs. This handset is already available in China, but is yet to see its western launch. It is Honor’s latest foldable and our first look hands-on attested to just how awesome this handset really is. Featuring an innovative new hinge system, alongside stunning displays and a nicely specced camera array, this is set to be a foldable for you to really keep an eye on (move aside, Samsung).

We also have the brand new Honor Magic5 range. If past experience is anything to go by, this means we’ll be getting a Pro and a Lite version of the Magic5, and I for one am incredibly excited to see what this new range brings to the table. The Magic4 Pro impressed us no end, so we can safely say that the Magic5 range is likely to blow our socks off come MWC 2023.
