OnePlus Nord 3 to include 100W charging, 120Hz display & more

The OnePlus Nord 3 specifications have just surfaced online, claiming that the phone will offer 100W charging, and much more. This information comes from Debayan Roy from Gadgetsdata, as he shared the specs via Twitter.

He claims that the phone will feature a 6.5-inch fullHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. That display will also be an AMOLED panel. He did not mention whether it will be flat or curved, but we’re guessing the former.

The MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Max or Dimensity 8200 will fuel this phone. The device will include a 4,500mAh or 5,000mAh battery, and 100W wired charging was also mentioned. He did not mention wireless charging, but we’re guessing it won’t be included.

Three cameras will sit on the back of the phone

A 50-megapixel main camera will be backed by an 8-megapixel camera (presumably an ultrawide unit). A third camera will also be available, but the source listed its spec as “useless”. So, it could be a 2-megapixel macro camera, which OnePlus used in the past.

The last spec he shared is a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The source also said that the rumor claiming this phone will have a 1.5K display is not accurate. It will be a fullHD+ panel, which makes more sense.

The OnePlus Nord 3 is, of course, not the same as the Nord CE 3, which also surfaced recently. The Nord 3 is expected to be a more powerful device, as it’s the main phone in the ‘Nord’ lineup.

We still don’t know when exactly will this phone arrive

Now, the OnePlus Nord 2 arrived way back in July 2021. So, it has been over a year and a half since it launched. We don’t know when will the OnePlus Nord 3 launch, perhaps OnePlus is aiming at the same launch timeframe as for the OnePlus Nord 2.

If that ends up being the case, we’re in for quite a wait until this phone launches. We’ll just have to wait and see.
