While expensive, there are a ton of features to justify the price, starting with the impressive 7.6-inch display. This is a massive phone that you can work on, play games, or just procrastinate.

What Makes the Galaxy Z Fold 3 Stand Out

Obviously, the first thing that makes us want the Z Fold 3 is the screen. The 7.6-inch display has a resolution of 1760 x 2208 pixels on the main screen, while the 6.2-inch cover display gets an 832 x 2268 resolution. Under the hood, the Fold 3 sports the Snapdragon 888 chipset and 12GB of RAM to power the whole thing.

The phone features a 4,400mAh battery, which would be enough to power most phones for a whole day, but not one that’s this massive. So the one thing you have to do if you get this phone for a massive $950 off is to invest in a good power bank, although we also suggest you carry your charger with you. Thankfully, the battery charges up pretty fast as it supports 25W Super Fast charging, so that’s something to alleviate your worries.

The Galaxy Z Fold 3 also has a pretty impressive camera system. While it may not be as good as the one that comes with the Fold 4 model, it’s still pretty awesome. The camera setup features three 12MP wide, ultrawide, and 2x telephoto cameras on the back, all of which work to create some stunning pictures. There are two extra cameras on the phone, namely a 10MP one on the cover display and a 4MP one on the main display. It’s complicated when you have so many screens, but the gist of it is that you can take a selfie no matter how you’re holding your phone—folded or unfolded.

The $950 discount for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is the largest we’ve ever seen for this model, and it comes just days ahead of the Samsung Galaxy S23 range release.
