Trade-In, Gift Cards & More

[ad_1]

The Samsung Galaxy S23 has already been launched, and phones are slowly trickling into buyers’ pockets. If you haven’t got the chance to order one just yet, that may be best because there are a bunch of deals currently available. They won’t cut down on the price too much since this is still a brand-new device, but there are ways you can lower that number.

If you’re willing to trade in an old phone, you can save quite a bit of money, while the likes of Amazon and Best Buy are offering various incentives. Plus, of course, major carriers are slashing prices left and right if you agree to their conditions.

Why You’ll Want to Get the Samsung Galaxy S23

The Samsung Galaxy S23 is the smallest phone in this new line, at just 6.1 inches. The phone comes with an AMOLED FHD+ screen with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. You can get this device with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset explicitly made for the S23 series, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB or 256GB of storage space.

The Galaxy S23 has a 3,900mAh battery, so you can go through a whole day with a single charge. The device supports 25W fast charging or 15W wireless charging. Should you want to take some photos, as we all do, you should know you have a 50MP camera system at your disposal or a 12MP camera for all your selfies.

The company has listed the 128GB version up for $800 and $860 for the 256GB alternative.

This $800 phone has some pretty incredible offers currently available, so let’s check them out.

Amazon Samsung Galaxy S23 Deals

Over on Amazon, you can get the S23 256GB version for the same price as the 128GB one. So, you’ll only pay $800 ($60 off) for the larger storage space option. Plus, Amazon tries to sweeten the pot by throwing in a $50 Amazon Gift Card. Basically, you get a discount of about $110, which isn’t bad.

There are no trade-ins on Amazon, at least not directly. Amazon will buy your older phone, however, you’ll just have to use that money for a different order.

Best Buy Samsung Galaxy S23 Deals

On Best Buy, you can find some pretty decent trade-ins, although it does depend on what phone you’re willing to part with. First off, Best Buy is also throwing in a $60 discount on the 256GB Samsung Galaxy S23 so it brings it down to the price of the 128GB phone. On top of that, you’ll get a $50 gift card from them so you can use for whatever you want.

Now, as far as trade-ins go, Best Buy offers up to $600 for your old phone, although it would need a recent phone to get that much. Best Buy accepts phones from Samsung, Apple, Google, LG, OnePlus, Microsoft, or Motorola. Trading in last year’s Galaxy S22 with no screen damage, cracks, and in generally good working condition, you’ll get an estimated $300 back.

Samsung Samsung Galaxy S23 Deals

Samsung is running the same deal the big sellers have, so you’ll be able to get the 256GB S23 for the same price as you would the 128GB option, namely $800. They’ll also throw in a $50 reserve credit towards Samsung care+ or accessories and $50 instant Samsung credit you can use right away. They’ll also slash the price of the Galaxy Watch5 by up to $100 if you want to get one of those too.

When it comes to trade-in, Samsung offers up to $350 instant credit. Just so we can make the same comparison, Samsung will offer you $250 for your old S22 if it’s in good condition.

When it comes to your favorite carriers, they also have some discounts. As you’ll notice, you’ll get better prices here, but you won’t be getting an unlocked phone out of the transaction.

AT&T is offering you a new S23 for free with an eligible trade-in device. You can get up to $1,000 on an old device, but can even be the worst phone you’ve had in the past few years, because they’ll still take it off your hands. While it may depend on what phone you’re giving them and its condition, you’ll generally be good to go to get a “free” Galaxy S23. Of course, if the phone is older and in bad shape, you’ll just pay the difference (and then some) on your monthly bill.

Verizon also has some deals for your new Galaxy S23. If you purchase through Samsung.com, you’ll get $800 in instant credit toward the Galaxy S23 if you choose Verizon as a carrier. If you’ve previously had a different carrier and you’re switching to Verizon, they’ll give you $800, so you can basically get the S23 for free and a $200 eCard to use on future bills and products.

T-Mobile offers you a free Galaxy S23 if you get a new line on Magenta MAX. Of course, you’ll be paying for the phone in monthly installments for the next two years. If you trade in an older phone, they’ll just slash that off the top of what you have to pay within those two years. Your old Samsung Galaxy S22 will bring you up to $800 off, which means you basically get the new S23 for free.

Pick the Best Samsung Galaxy S23 Deal for You

The Galaxy S23 is a great phone, but it’s just hot on the market. We don’t expect to see any better deals for the next couple of months, so if you really want one of these phones, one of these deals above is your best bet at getting it. If you don’t want to get hooked up to a carrier for another two or three years, you’ll just have to shell out quite a bit of money or trade in a good—but older—phone. Whatever choice you make, we’re sure you’ll enjoy the new Galaxy S23 quite a bit.
